Creative UI/UX Designer
I believe creativity is more than just expression — it’s a tool for impact. As a designer, I’ve created over 1,500 designs, including marketing and advertising posters for a wide range of businesses. Each project has been an opportunity not just to design, but to communicate, solve problems, and help brands connect with people in meaningful ways. Through my work and content, I’ve reached millions — inspiring others to embrace their creativity and ambition with practical, actionable advice. Whether through design, content, or speaking engagements, my goal is to empower people to take action and build something of their own. Currently, as the Chief Designer at Britech Computer Solutions Limited, I work closely with small business owners and content creators — educating, motivating, and helping them build strong, impactful brands. This portfolio reflects that journey: creativity, growth, and a commitment to helping others succeed through design.

Early Life & Childhood
Charles is the youngest of five children and was born in Machakos, Kenya, where his family remained rooted throughout his upbringing. His father, James, dedicated his entire career to the Kenya Teachers' Association, instilling a strong sense of discipline and education in the household. Growing up, Charles often described himself as a “misfit toy” — someone who struggled to fit in or find his place during much of his early childhood and young adulthood.

But it was within that space of uncertainty that his creativity began to take shape. Encouraged consistently by his mother, he explored illustration, photography, and painting from a young age. These early passions didn’t just remain hobbies — they became the foundation for his future career and creative identity. Originally, Charles dreamed of becoming an animator or filmmaker, aspiring to work with major studios like Disney or Marvel. By the age of 16, he had already begun turning his passion into income, hand-drawing comic strips and selling them to classmates. A turning point came when his grandmother invested in a family computer — a moment that opened the door to digital creativity.

Through self-teaching, he developed skills in HTML, graphic design, photo manipulation, and video editing, using early internet resources to learn and experiment. By the time he graduated university, Charles had already built a strong foundation in digital design, photography, and video — setting the stage for the creative journey that would follow.
